SodaPeak Side Effects and Drug Interactions by Ingredient

Quick answer

Most side effects reported for the eight SodaPeak ingredients are mild: stomach upset, headache and sweating.

Rarer risks include heart rhythm changes, low blood pressure, bleeding with blood thinners, and interactions with lithium, digoxin and diabetes medication. Talk to your doctor first if you take any of these.

Check who should ask a doctor before SodaPeak.

The short version

What are the side effects of SodaPeak?

The common side effects are likely to be mild: an upset stomach, nausea, headache, dizziness or feeling hot and sweaty. They come from research on each ingredient, because SodaPeak itself has never been tested.

The rarer risks deserve your attention first. Horny goat weed, the first and largest ingredient, has case reports of an irregular heartbeat (MSK: Epimedium). It may also lower blood pressure and slow clotting (RxList: Horny goat weed). Saw palmetto adds bleeding risk with blood thinners (MSK: Saw palmetto).

Eight ingredients share a 1,200 mg blend, so each dose is probably modest, but no single amount is printed. The FDA reminds buyers that supplements can have strong effects (FDA 101: Dietary supplements).

Start low

Begin with one capsule a day so a reaction shows at the lower dose. Two a day is the label maximum.

Medicines

What medicines interact with SodaPeak?

At least six medicine groups interact with SodaPeak's herbs. If you take any of them, ask your doctor or pharmacist before the first capsule.

Known interactions between SodaPeak ingredients and common medicines, from RxList, MSK and WebMD monographs
MedicineIngredientWhat could happen
Blood thinners (warfarin, clopidogrel and others)Saw palmetto, horny goat weed, nettle rootMore bruising or bleeding (MSK: Saw palmetto) (RxList: Horny goat weed); nettle's vitamin K may affect warfarin (RxList: Stinging nettle)

LithiumNettle root, sarsaparillaHigher lithium levels from a water-pill effect (RxList: Stinging nettle) (RxList: Sarsaparilla)

Estrogens, testosterone, prostate-cancer drugsHorny goat weed, wild yam, tongkat aliHormone effects may add up or clash (RxList: Horny goat weed) (RxList: Wild yam) (WebMD: Eurycoma longifolia)

Horny goat weed may also speed up CYP3A4, a liver enzyme that clears many prescriptions (MSK: Epimedium).

Heart and blood pressure

Can SodaPeak affect your heart or blood pressure?

It might, mainly because of horny goat weed. Memorial Sloan Kettering reports a 66-year-old man with heart failure who was hospitalized with a new irregular heartbeat and hypomania after two weeks of daily use (MSK: Epimedium). MSK advises people with heart disease to avoid the herb.

RxList adds that it may lower blood pressure (RxList: Horny goat weed), and nettle root can too (RxList: Stinging nettle). That can mean dizziness when you stand up.

Get help right away

Chest pain, a racing or irregular heartbeat, fainting or trouble breathing need urgent medical care. Stop SodaPeak and call 911 or go to an emergency room.

Erection problems can also be an early sign of clogged arteries, high blood pressure or diabetes, the NIH notes (NIDDK: ED symptoms & causes). That calls for a checkup, not a supplement.

Bleeding

Is SodaPeak safe with blood thinners?

Ask your doctor first, because two of its herbs may add to bleeding risk. Memorial Sloan Kettering says not to take saw palmetto with warfarin or other blood thinners, and lists bleeding case reports (MSK: Saw palmetto). RxList says horny goat weed slows clotting (RxList: Horny goat weed).

  • Watch for easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums or dark, tarry stools.
  • Stop SodaPeak before planned surgery, as RxList advises for horny goat weed, and tell your surgeon and dentist (RxList: Horny goat weed).

Hormones

Can SodaPeak affect your hormones?

Several of its herbs have hormone-related cautions, so it is possible.

Estrogen-like

Horny goat weed and wild yam

Both have estrogen-like activity, per MSK (MSK: Epimedium) (MSK: Wild yam). People with hormone-sensitive cancers should ask their physician first.

Anti-androgen

Saw palmetto

It blocks an enzyme that converts testosterone, and decreased libido is a listed side effect (MSK: Saw palmetto).

Small effect

Tongkat ali

Interacts with testosterone and prostate-cancer antiandrogens, per WebMD (WebMD: Eurycoma longifolia).

Urinary pain with fever needs prompt care, says the NIDDK (NIDDK: Enlarged prostate (BPH)).

Liver and kidneys

Can SodaPeak harm your liver or kidneys?

No liver or kidney harm has been reported for SodaPeak, but a few ingredients carry rare warnings. LiverTox records one liver injury case tied to tongkat ali (LiverTox: Tongkat ali).

RxList advises avoiding sarsaparilla with kidney problems (RxList: Sarsaparilla), and nettle root carries a kidney caution (RxList: Stinging nettle).

Signs of liver trouble

Stop and call your doctor if you notice dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, belly pain or unusual tiredness.

Quick check

Who should not take SodaPeak?

Answer five questions. A yes on any of them means talk to a doctor first or skip it.

1. Are you 18 or older?
2. Are you pregnant or nursing?
3. Do you take blood thinners, blood pressure or diabetes medicine, lithium or digoxin?
4. Do you have a heart rhythm problem, low blood pressure, or kidney or liver disease?
5. Have you had prostate or breast cancer, or do you take hormone therapy?

A wider risk

Can male supplements contain hidden prescription drugs?

Yes, and the FDA finds them often. In May 2026 the agency warned that a "natural enhancement" supplement contained sildenafil and tadalafil, the drugs in Viagra and Cialis, without listing them (FDA: X10 hidden sildenafil/tadalafil). NCCIH says some products sold for sexual enhancement contain prescription drugs not allowed in supplements (NCCIH: Using supplements wisely).

Hidden ED drugs are dangerous with nitrates such as nitroglycerin. Together they can drop blood pressure to unsafe levels (FDA: X10 hidden sildenafil/tadalafil). No FDA notice names SodaPeak, and we have no lab test of it either way.

If something goes wrong

What should you do if you have a side effect from SodaPeak?

  1. Stop taking it

Do not take another capsule until a doctor says it is fine.

  2. Call your doctor

Bring the bottle. The FDA says to seek care and report the problem (FDA 101: Dietary supplements).

  3. Report it

File a report with FDA MedWatch and tell the eBay seller, who should pass serious reports on (FDA: Q&A on dietary supplements).

FAQ

SodaPeak side effects FAQ

What are the most common side effects of SodaPeak?

The most likely ones are mild: stomach upset, nausea, headache, dizziness, or feeling hot and sweaty. These come from studies of the individual herbs, since SodaPeak has not been tested. Start with one capsule a day and stop if a reaction does not settle.

Is SodaPeak safe with blood pressure pills?

Ask your doctor first. Horny goat weed and nettle root may lower blood pressure, and with blood pressure medicine it could drop too low. Signs include dizziness or fainting when you stand. Bring the SodaPeak bottle so your doctor can read the full label.

Does SodaPeak cause a fast heartbeat?

It could in rare cases. Horny goat weed, SodaPeak's first ingredient, has case reports of rapid or irregular heartbeat, including a man hospitalized after two weeks of use. Stop taking it and get medical care right away if your heart races or skips.

Can SodaPeak lower my sex drive?

It is possible. Saw palmetto, the third ingredient, has decreased libido listed as a side effect by Memorial Sloan Kettering, because it blocks an enzyme that converts testosterone. If you notice a drop after starting SodaPeak, stop it and see whether it returns.

Should I stop SodaPeak before surgery?

Yes. RxList advises stopping horny goat weed before surgery because it slows clotting, and saw palmetto has bleeding case reports during and after operations. Tell your surgeon and dentist about every supplement you take.
